Tokoname ware (常滑焼 Tokoname-yaki) refers to a type of Japanese pottery, stoneware, and ceramics produced in and around the municipality of Tokoname, Aichi in central Japan. Tokoname is most famous for its small, burnished red, side-handled teapots.
